The role

BitConnect is offering you the role of J2EE Developer. As an J2EE Developer you will work closely together with fellow software development team members (many of whom are located in the US), focused on the operation of the e-commerce and auction platform. The customers rely on the software development team, to provide highly-available, trouble-free operation on the custom-built software, in daily use by employees around the world,  as online and on-site marketplaces. Within your team you provide technical assistance, trouble-shooting and minor enhancements, gather requirements for future enhancements, and may assist other developers on new public or internal operations functionality. The technologies you’ll come accross are J2EE, Oracle/SQL, HTML5, XML, JSON and front-end JS/CSS frameworks including JQuery, Angular and React, all running in a clustered Linux environment.

 

Asking:

• At least 2 years’ experience as a J2EE Developer

• Fluent English, verbally and written

• BS or MS in computer science would be a big plus

Its world’s largest industrial auctioneer and marketplace. It counts more tan 200 thousand fulltime employees, with offices in de States, Canada and the Netherlands. You’ll be working in an internatioanl environment, wherein you’ll also get the possibility to travel.

This position is for location Breda in the Netherlands.
